Pakistan Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), operating three Digisondes, model DGS-256 one each at Sonmiani and Islamabad, were acquired from M/s UMLCAR, University of Lowell, USA, in 1987 and 1988 respectively and new Digital Portable Sounder (model DPS-4) has also been acquired from M/s UMLCAR and is operational since 1st April 2008 at Multan. In view of the eminent position of the experts in international scientific community and their contribution for national benefits, SPAS Dte, of SUPARCO is engaged in collaboration with these experts regarding the Ionospheric study and Research since 1987 |
